Rosenberg Clients; Mar-Bal in the News
April 25 – May 1, 2011 Crain’s Cleveland Business Magazine Recap:
“Polymer molder Mar-Bal turns up dials of operation”
“Investments in Chagrin Falls, global operations signal market share growth”
“When family owned polymer molder and compounder, Mal-Bal Inc., came to us for help naming and branding their new product, we couldn’t have been more excited to get started. We love a challenge and this project was no exception,” said Melissa Sattler, art director at Rosenberg Advertising.
Mar-Bal specializes in “the metalizing and decorating operation, which the company markets as Thermital,” which provides “attractive stainless steel, chrome and brass finishes along with repeatable textures that look and feel like metal,” said vice president of Thermital, Steven Balogh.
In efforts to expand world-wide, Mar-Bal is “investing locally and globally – with plans for a factory in Mexico and a sales office in China, and a new finishing operation at its Chagrin Falls headquarters that creates a metalized finish on plastic parts.” Later this year, Mar-Bal will open a new sales office in Shanghai. “That will allow us to sell and distribute our current insulator line more effectively, as opposed to direct from the U.S.,” said Steven Balogh.
While Mar-Bal expects $47 million in sales this year, the future only looks more promising for this family owned molder and compounder with the help of an innovative advertising agency such as Rosenberg Advertising.
