Creative Director

What I do at RA:

My business card (Would you like one? Please take one. I have a whole box.) says Creative Director. I design all types of print advertising; I write website copy, blog posts, and radio spots; I write, storyboard, and produce TV commercials; and I enthusiastically participate in brainstorm sessions, provided there are snacks.

What I do in life:

I live in Westlake with my wife Carrie and my kids Eric, Hannah, and McKenna. I’m a book nerd and horror film fanatic. Also, a bad day fishing is better than a good day doing almost anything else.

Fun facts:

I have illustrated several picture books, and have been published in everyone’s favorite dentist office magazine, Highlights. My first novel, a funny fantasy adventure for middle grade kids called Trapped In Lunch Lady Land, was published in 2014. If you’d like to hear more, I have a blog that talks about writing, drawing and reading. Also, I was the very first RA employee!

Why I love being a part of the RA team:

My favorite thing about Rosenberg Advertising (besides the fact that they’ve been willing to employ me since 1983) is that I am continually given the opportunity to stretch my creative wings and try new things. This is a place where thinking outside the box is actively encouraged.
